Tenants lining up for the new Hines Interests building

Van Guilder Insurance, Denver’s largest privately owned insurance brokerage, is slated to move into the new building at 1515 Wynkoop in the fall of 2008.  They recently signed a lease to occupy 57,000 square feet of office space.

Construction of the 8 story building will reportedly start in mid March.  The building is designed by Hartman Cox Architects, who designed the 16 Market Square building.

The building project calls for 27,000 sq ft of ground floor retail, which will provide new amenities to LoDo and the local residents.

The building site is the south end of the parcel once occupied by the US Postal Annex building, the bland blond brick monolith that felt so out of place in the neighbohood.

The new EPA building built by Opus NW sits on the north half of that lot.  The design of the new Hines building on the south half looks great.
