New Office Condo Building near Union Station announced
Resolute Investiments announced plans today to build a 200,000 square foot office and condominium building at the corner of 18th and Wewatta Streets, near Union Station. The building will be named Wewatta Plaza and is slated as an environmentally friendly building.
Wewatta Plaza has current plans for about 180,000 square feet of office condos with balconies and penthouse options, and about 20,000 square feet of retail.
According to denverinfill.com, the Wewatta Plaza project consists of a proposed 8-story rectangular wing fronting along 18th Street and an 11-story triangle-shaped wing located in the center of the block. A landscaped pedestrian plaza is featured right at the corner of 18th and Wewatta.
This new building adds to those recently announced, including the Trammel Crow building at 15th and Delgany, several new buildings at Riverfront Park, the new Contemporary Art Museum and Amy Harmon’s new building along Delgany at 15th. Add to this the Wynkoop Residences and 1401 Wewatta and the new Sugar 3 building and we have a lot of new buildings on the horizon.
