... as published in the Downtown Denver News ... In a completely unique move, Kentwood City Properties opened the design center for its wildly popular 24 Walnut Street condominiums in an unused space on Union Station’s second floor. Walnut Street is a 29-unit new townhome community in the Ballpark Historic District.
Over 150 brokers and community members christened the design center in an opening event on Thursday, February 9, held by the presenting brokers of Kentwood City Properties Dee Chirafisi, Jan Nelsen, and Bill Verdon; and MacKenzie House, developers known for the distinctive high-end single and multi-family projects in Denver and beyond. “The design center site was chosen because of its proximity to Kentwood City’s offices at 1700 Wynkoop,” stated Chirafisi, “and because of the impact the Union Station redevelopment will have on the lower downtown area.” Verdon stated they were seeing different types of buyers and potential investors. A number of them have been couples, but the Kentwood City Properties team is also seeing families, single residents and second-home buyers that want to invest in this downtown living project.
