Kentwood brokers again took home many of the awards at the recent Denver Board of Realtors roundtable event honoring the Top Realtors for 2006. Each of the top four individual brokers and four of the top six recipients were brokers from the three Kentwood offices. Kentwood also produced the top Broker Team, and two of their offices were recognized as the Top Offices for their overall sales volume. The Denver Board of Realtors recognized Dee Chirafisi of Kentwood City Properties as the second ranked 2006 Denver Realtor for her sales volume of $61,400,000. She ranked a close second behind Edie Marks of the Kentwood DTC office who closed $64,000,000. Fellow brokers Rollie Jordan of Kentwood Cherry Creek and Tim Colleran of Kentwood DTC rounded out the sweep of the top 4 individual awards. Remarkably, Dee was also recognized for her number of transactions completed. While many of the top award recipients specialized in selling multi-million dollar estates, Dee and her full-time assistant Becky Sable completed an astounding 85 transaction sides in 2006, representing sales across all price ranges. Dee’s sales volume award and the Kentwood City award are seen as a testament to the strength of the downtown and central Denver market. While parts of the suburban real estate market have softened in recent years, the downtown market has remained strong and sees continued growth and vitality. The LoDo office of Kentwood City Properties was again recognized as one of the top brokerage firms in the entire city. Kentwood City has long been the top agency among medium sized office of less than 30 agents. In 2006 they added several full-time brokers and grew to a total of 40 agents. For 2006, they were judged against many of the most active brokerages in the City, and Kentwood City ranked among the top 3 offices in the large office size category.
